Meet the host of Urban Gospel Sounds, Big C The Encourager

Composer, actor, counselor, pastor and vocalist are just some of the many hats of excellence that Big C The Encourager wears.
Charles "Big C" Scott has performed with many various gospel choirs and artists over the past several years. He has shared the stage with many world reknowned artists such as Calvin Huges and Friends, Pastor Shirley Caesar, John P. Kee, David Peason, Carnell Murrell, and many more. He also received the grand opportunity to sing for Rev. Billy Graham in Little Rock, Arkansas in November of 1993. Charles was also featured on the Dallas-based television program, "Force of Faith Worldwide Ministries".
In 1996, he was casted as the lead character in the hit stage play, "Halleluja, Shout Amen!", of which he scored two of the musical compositions. He also on live television for Miracle Word Ministries, a show airing on Channel 22 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Later in his career, Charles received an acting role playing the part of Deacon Paul in the widely acclaimed stage play, "The Hell With My Family" in 2010. More recently, he received the role to play Pastor Charles in the gospel stage play, "Salon Gossip" (2011). With an inumerous amount of talent and gifts, he has performed numerous voice overs for both radio and faith-based ministries, hosted various speaking engagements, along with motivational speaking throughout the country. He is currently the host, producer, and program director for one of Ameria's hottest internet radio shows, "Urban Gospel Sounds", based in Dallas, Texas. Through this anointed venture in radio, he has been blessed to interview a plethora of recording artists, pastors, evangelists, and celebrities throughout the gospel and secular industries.
In 2011, Charles became the CEO of Chancheri Records & Productions, which has produced the album entitled, "Miracle Worker", by star gospel artist, Cherrie Thompson-Scott, who is also his wife and lifelong partner in the gospel. God has truly blessed this man and he gives all of the glory to Christ for the great things he has done, yet knowing that the best is yet to come!
